How the Medical Alert works is simple –

  • Press the help button and you will be instantly connected to a certified LifeStation Care Specialist.
  • Care Specialists will assist you any time of day from LifeStation's own UL Listed monitoring center.
  • Life Station contacts emergency services, friends, and family. The medical alert console allows for 2-way voice communication with the monitoring center. A Care Specialist will stay on the line until help arrives.

LifeStation owns and operates its own UL Listed In-house Medical Monitoring Facility (while most other providers outsource this critical process to a third party). In-house management allows LifeStation’s staff to hear firsthand and review emergency calls instantly on a daily basis to ensure that the right level of service is being delivered.

CSAA Certified Specialists

All LifeStation Care Specialists are Central Station Alarm Association certified. This means Specialists meet or exceed the highest standard for monitoring center personnel. In addition, all LifeStation Care Specialist trainees must complete 6 weeks of intensive classroom training. This is followed by an apprenticeship program with a veteran Specialist who must certify the trainee. Once the program is complete, Care Specialists are evaluated on a regular basis.

2 Agents on Every Call

When a help button is pushed, LifeStation will always be there to answer the call. If LifeStation needs to contact emergency services or your friends and family, one Care Specialist will do so, while another Care Specialist will remain on the line with you until help arrives.
