X-Box 360 Leads Cops to Catch a Thief

A notorious criminal from the Bronx who racked up over 200 larcenies has been caught by police in New York after getting onto Xbox Live with a stolen 360. 22 year-old Jeremiah Gilliam was traced to his home after the machine in question had been reported as stolen. Cops had asked Microsoft if the 360 had been taken online since its theft. Microsoft in turn was able to track it down and confirm that it had.

In Sledell, Louisiana two people left a 15-mile-long- trail of doughnuts after they took a Krispy Kreme truck from a parking lot and fled, police told Reuters. The truck was parked at a convenience store with its rear doors open and engine running while a deliveryman carried doughnuts inside, said Slidell police spokesman Rob Callahan.
