New Jersey police are reporting that a burglar broke into a restaurant Saturday morning, but didn’t take any money.
What he did do, however, was cook a meal!
Police say he broke into the Matsu Sushi Grill by breaking an exhaust fan in the back of the building and fried some chicken and rice in the frying pan. “After he ate,” Detective Robert Francaviglia said, “he left.”
There was a total of $200 left in the cash register overnight which remained untouched.
Police say a similar incident happened last year at a Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant and are looking for a possible connection.
