Church Burglar Gets 10 Years

Proving that sins do not go unpunished, a 23-year-old Missouri burglar who targeted churches has been officially sentenced to 10 years in prison after pleading guilty to 17 counts of burglary, tampering and attempted burglary.

The burglaries occurred at several churches not too far from eachother over a few months period in 2009.  The tampering occurred at a private home and the attempted burglary at a business.

The man, named Joshua Higgins, was a prior offender.
