The wooden leg of English celebrity Heather Mills, best known for winning a $50 million settlement after divorcing Sir Paul McCartney, set off the security alarm at London’s Heathrow Airport today.
Her false leg was subsequently checked for explosives in front of onlookers who no doubt knew who she was. After being swabbed in public, she was allowed to proceed.
Mills is said to have taken the incident lightly, with her spokespeople insisting she knows it is the right thing to do for security reasons in the 21st century.
