A woman talking loudly on her cellphone last Saturday night during a screening of Shutter Island at the Cinemark 22 in Los Angeles was shushed by a man sitting nearby.
This turned out to be a big mistake!
The woman’s boyfriend who apparently didn’t like that his girlfriend was being told to be quiet during a movie decided to attack the Shusher with a meat thermometer, stabbing him in the neck.
Two other people who tried helping the victim were also attacked.
The victim is currently recovering in the hospital, but is expected to survive. The attacker and his friends were not caught.
